WHAT HAPPENED TO IRON SKY?
The company that owned the Iron Sky IP, Iron Sky Universe, entered bankruptcy proceedings in 2021. The rights were later purchased by a party unrelated to the original filmmakers, effectively bringing the saga to an end. Although the Iron Sky storyline is no longer continuing, the core filmmakers — Timo Vuorensola, Tero Kaukomaa, and Samuli Torssonen — are expanding their trademark blend of dark comedy, conspiracy lore, and political satire in an all-new universe: the Deep Red trilogy! Here’s the first announcement video of the upcoming trilogy.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CONTRIBUTION?
Due to the bankruptcy of Iron Sky Universe, some promised perks for Iron Sky: The Coming Race — most notably the Blu-rays and DVDs — were never produced. Since the IP now belongs to another company, we no longer have the legal ability to manufacture or deliver those rewards, no matter how much we wish we could.
To honour your support, we’ve launched the Iron Sky War Reparations Campaign, where you can claim a replacement reward: 10 Deep Red Tokens. These blockchain-powered tokens provide revenue participation in the Deep Red IP — giving supporters a direct share of the project’s earnings.
While this can’t replace the physical Blu-ray or DVD that was originally promised, we hope it reflects our genuine appreciation for your role in making Iron Sky possible.
