Deep Red is more than a film trilogy — it’s the foundation of a long-lasting sci-fi universe. Our goal is to build a sustainable creative ecosystem where fans, creators, and investors share both the excitement and the rewards. The trilogy launches the world and mythology; from there, the universe expands into games, series, books, comics, events, and other transmedia experiences. Over time, Deep Red will evolve into a globally iconic IP — powered by technology, creativity, and community.

Traditional film financing for independent international productions is outdated — slow, complex, and expensive. It depends on distribution deals as the foundation of the financing structure, which makes sense since that’s where revenues are ultimately generated. However, for producers of mid-budget international films (€5–20 million), this model can easily become a trap.
Pre-sales often cover only 10–20% of the total budget, yet they determine access to the remaining financing. As a result, producers are frequently forced to sign early, unfavorable distribution agreements just to unlock other funding sources. This outdated dependency may get films made, but too often leaves producers — and even other investors — in a weak position within the revenue chain.
The Deep Red STO model breaks this cycle by offering a direct, transparent, and efficient financing mechanism, empowering producers to raise capital without sacrificing ownership or creative control. This isn’t crypto hype.

Deep Red builds on a proven model we’ve refined through Star Wreck, Iron Sky, and Mad Heidi: turning fans into an active marketing force. Each project taught us how early engagement creates ownership — and how every fan who participates brings more fans with them. By combining this fan-powered approach with modern digital tools and automation, Deep Red becomes a self-expanding ecosystem — a global audience that fuels its own growth long before the first film is released.
-
Our distribution strategy will be designed together with key partners early in development to align fully with our fan-driven marketing model. Traditional release patterns are rapidly changing, and Deep Red’s launch — planned for 2029 — must meet audiences where they are, not where they were. Not locked, but we aim to build a flexible, hybrid distribution plan that combines global digital platforms, event-style theatrical releases, and direct-to-fan models. By collaborating early with distributors who appreciates both data-driven reach and community engagement, we can ensure that Deep Red’s release strategy remains viable and profitable in the evolving media landscape 3–4 years from now.
-
Deep Red’s value grows with every new participant. Each investor strengthens production, each follower expands the audience, and each collaborator adds creative power to the IP. This creates a continuous feedback loop — community drives visibility, visibility drives revenue, and revenue fuels growth. It’s not just a trilogy — it’s a self-accelerating universe where engagement equals value.

Further details can be found in the white paper, where we present our minimum, realistic, and aspirational financial projections. The document provides a detailed breakdown of the assumptions and calculations behind our realistic target ROI of 41%.

Deep Red aims for a powerful and distinctive cast — a mix of rising talent, market-recognizable names, and beloved genre icons that appeal to both mainstream and fan audiences. Our financing structure ensures a steady cash flow, allowing us to make “pay-and-play” offers — a major advantage when securing talent early and avoiding long-term scheduling conflicts.

The three films will be produced as a single, integrated production, generating substantial synergies and cost savings throughout the entire process — from development and shooting to post-production. In addition, the Security Token Offering (STO) structure will significantly reduce financing and legal expenses.
After accounting for these savings, the total production budget for Deep Red is €15 million (€5 million per film). Approximately one third of this amount will be covered by production incentives and local partnerships, leaving €10 million to be financed through the STO.

Under EU and most international frameworks, professional (institutional or qualified) investors can participate globally, while retail (private individual) investors are usually limited to EEA + Switzerland + UK due to securities regulations.
